MeMo featured on Unicas+
The editorial platform of the University of Cassino and Southern Lazio hosts a new contribution dedicated to the project.
Making research accessible and promoting the sharing of knowledge have been among the guiding principles of MeMo – Memory of Montecassino since its inception. It is within this framework that the article Dalla pergamena alla rete. La memoria scritta di Montecassino fra passato e futuro , by Marilea Maniaci, Giulia Orofino and Nicola Tangari, has been published on Unicas+, the editorial platform of the University of Cassino and Southern Lazio devoted to showcasing the University’s research, cultural activities and academic life.

This initiative further strengthens the connection between the University’s research activities and its communication platforms, providing a space where scientific projects can be presented beyond strictly specialist contexts. Within this setting, the article reflects on the development of MeMo, outlining its main lines of research and the methodological perspectives that shape its activities.
Rather than focusing on individual achievements, the article offers an overall view of the project, also highlighting related research initiatives such as MeMo-ViAM and DOBIPS, while underscoring the value of Montecassino’s manuscript and documentary heritage as a laboratory for interdisciplinary research.
Through an accessible and engaging style, the article highlights the importance of fostering dialogue between research and science communication, making the ideas, collaborations and research pathways behind the project more visible and helping to disseminate its aims within the wider university community.
